HOW TO PERFORM LOGICAL REASONING USING 'IF' FUNCTION IN MS-EXCEL
USING "IF" FUNCTION
In microsoft excel, you can use a logical statement to test your data base on a condition. However, an "IF" function is a logical function that set a stipulated condition statement that test data. The result can either be "YES" or "NO", "TRUE" or "FALSE", "PASS" or "FAIL", etc. As the case may be, depending on the user's request.
An "IF" function formula is usually entered in the following format: eg =IF(B7>70%, "pass", "fail") enter.

INTERPRETATION
The above formula implies that, if the values in column B are greated that 70%, the word "pass" should display in a specific ceell(s), Otherwise "fail" if the values are less that or equal to 70%.
When once the above formula is being entered correctly, and the enter key is pressed, excell will use the formula to test the data and give out accurate result as expected by the user.
