HOW TO CREATE CALENDAR IN COREL DRAW FOR GRAPHICS

Creating a calendar automatically reduces graphics designer stress in extracting day, month and year respectively from the main source. All thanks to Corel Corporation for the Calendar Wizard.

In this tutorial Coreldraw X5 was used to demonstrate examples for easier understanding.

STEP 1: LUNCHING THE GRAPHICS PACKAGE (CORELDRAW)

click on the start button

Draw your mouse to All programs, then select CorelDraw Graphics Suite X5 (CorelDraw X5 was used for this tutorial your version can be different) and click.

A drop-down menu will open like the above pictures for you to see the CorelDraw Graphics Suite Programs, Click on CorelDraw X5 and wait for the program to run.

STEP TWO: PAGE SETUP

1. Open a blank document in CorelDraw

2. Set your Paper size to be A3 (that is the normal calendar size)

STEP THREE: CALENDAR SIZE SETUP

- click on tools at the menu-bar, bring your mouse to macros a drop down menu will appear click on RUN MACRO…

- On the click on RUN MACRO a dialog box will pop-up title Run macro, in the dialog box, you will see Macro in: You will have to select Calendarwizard(Calendarwizard.gms) and click run to start the Calendar wizard.

STEP FOUR: CUSTOMIZATION

1. Select the mouth you need and the year to appear in the calendar

2. Select the language for the calendar in this tutorial english was used

3. Select the day you want your week in the calendar to start with (for example in this tutorial Sunday was used)

4. Layout: select how you want the calendar to appear (months and days)

After customizing click generate to generate the selected calendar in CorelDraw and close the dialog box.

Ungroup (ctrl+U) to edit and design to your desire or client desire.
